AVCHD Converter App Reviews

I bought this app to convert and merge AVCHD files and found that no matter what setting I choose or how many files I was joining, the new files audio was always out of sync. Disappointed!

This item does not work and does not convert AVCHD as it claims.

I was reading about this app avchd converter and I thought this will solve my problem. This app did not work with any video (mts or m2ts from my Sony Alpha). Save your money and do not buy it.

Has problems with macOS Sierra. Look at the most recent date that it has been updated. It’s been abandoned. Another addition to the Mac App Store graveyard.

Does what it says and does it well. Im able to convert AVCHD files into basically any format I want with this and when you tweak the settings right the quality of both the audio and video are very nice. I do have a few complaints to justfy the loss of a star. Firstly, I work with a large amount of AVC files in one batch and this program, even on my rather heafty specs, doesnt handly the import and mass converting too well. Second there is no way to save a preset format (ie. Highest video quality, 29 fps, HD codecs. This is a problem again due to the large amount of files i work with and it becomes a pain to have to re-enter in the options i want with each convert. Other than that great app and I hope the developer can get around to fixing those two issues.

Its very useful, the best Video converter. It support the most video format, which can be used easily.

I bought this app so that i could convert .MTS video from my Panasonic GH1 camera and then edit it in Adobe Premiere(CS3=Non-Capatible with .MTS files), and so far its working great! Many different format to choose from, relatively fast, and it even has some effects you can apply to your video before you convert it. One this that was a bit different is that when i convert 720p video, it turns out as a 1080p video... which is kinda cool, but im not sure what happens there. I wish the price was a bit lower, but i think this app works great.

This software is extremely slow at converting .m2ts to .mov.

Another frustrating converter app that barely accomplishes the job. Ive converted several .MTS files now only to see lots of noise whenever its an action/sports sequence. HD Video…hello? Someone know of a decent AVCHD converter?

I was reading about this app avchd converter and I thought this will solve my problem of have my video edit. but this app did not work with any video. save your money and do not buy it.

I almost gave this app 1 star, because it looked like it couldnt handle my file. The drag-drop functionality didnt work. And the open-file functionality didnt work. But then I noticed the files I wanted to import in the navigation on the left side. I dragged them over, and it worked. Lots of options, and everything just worked. Got my clips. Its worth the price.

Converted my Sony AVCHD videos well, the output images and sound are good, and all the converted videos played fine on my ATV and iPad.

While this app does what it says on the tin, even with the highest settings and the lowest compression settings, the quality of the videos this app puts out is not acceptable. The quality is much better doing a raw export from Quicktime.

I have video recorded on ACVHD 60P on my Canon camcorder. I want to convert the video to MP4 format for use in iMovie but this software doesnt even recognize my video so I cant get it imported to my Mac Book Pro to convert it. Waste of money if you have AVCHD 60P vidoe on your camera.

For me who love hd videos, this app helped me a lot. It provides a list of parameters to set the video and audio quality, while mantain the quality, it also converts fast. This is the best video conversion tool I have used. It supports all my video and music files.

This app converted HD files perfectly and quickly to iPhone 5S. Very impressed. The only gripe was that the file browser used to choose the target destination is very clunky. Only the UI needs some improvement but nothing more important than the fact it works. Well done!

The new updated version of the converter now updates a whole host of brand new features. HD video files can now easily be converted to MP4, FLV, WMV, 3GP and more. iPhone 5S is also now supported and this is a great step forward. With high definition video also supported the viewing experience is certainly better than ever.

Ive used this app to convert a large HD video file to a 3D video. Although it takes me a long time, the output quality makes me satisfied. Looking forward the next version!

This app is rock solid, easy-to-use, and runs fast. When I was having my AVCHD videos converted to my iPhone it worked efficiently with a beautiful UI. But I want to say the converting speed can be further promoted. I’m look forward to the continued development of it.
